About EAG and Sunday StreetsThis event will be held during Excelsior Sunday Streets in 2020.. At this FREE event EAG will again transform the Persia Triangle into Excelsior Park Plaza for the day! Bring your picnic baskets, blankets, etc. and join your fellow community members in our neighborhood pop-up park. Connect with neighbors, community organizations, and City Departments as we celebrate the our great neighborhood and envision the future of the Excelsior! Though the dates are in flux due to the current Covid-19 impacts, the festivities will go from 11am to 4pm and are located on Ocean Avenue between Persia and Mission Street. This year will feature loads of family filled activities, face painting, and of course, a stellar musical line up. Who We Are |
In 2017 after 15 years, the Excelsior Action Group joined with SF Sunday Streets to host activities during the event in the Persia Triangle as guests enjoyed the overall event. Established in 2002, the Festival so outgrew its footprint that since 2011, we have partnered with SF Livable Cities to offer Excelsior Sunday Streets in the Spring and Fall. Last year's overall events attracted more than 20,000 visitors! The City now knows we are the Excelsior!

Established in 2002, the Excelsior Festival was created to bring attention to one of San Francisco's most vibrant neighborhoods. We know our work made a difference. We're on the map, we are listened to, and we are the 'E'.
